The Mount of Olives in Jerusalem is an important landmark, located next to the Old City of Jerusalem. This refers to the ridge located east of the Old City. It gets its name from the olive groves that at one time covered the land. A significant and meaningful landmark, the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem dates back to biblical times and is important to both Jews and Christians.Today, the Mount of Olives is used as a Jewish cemetery and has been for over 3,000 years, it holds some 150,000 graves. In fact, it has been used as a burial location for Jews since biblical times, including the burial location for some of the most prominent biblical kings.

Megiddo, an impressive site in the Lower Galilee region of northern Israel was once an ancient city was critical that dominated the Aruna Pass (Wadi Ara or Megiddo Pass) the entrance to one of the few passes through the Carmel Mountains. This gave those who occupied Megiddo incredible power over the Via Maris, the main route between Egypt and Mesopotamia and what the Egyptians called the Way of the Sea. Today, Megiddo is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and an impressive site to visit and explore also due to its rich Biblical importance and wonderous ancient water feature which we can walk through.

How can I get to Israel?
Getting to Israel is easy! There are flights available to Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) from most major cities around the world. It is recommended to book your flight early and make sure you have a valid passport with at least six months validity left on it before flying.

There are many websites that offer great deals on flights to Israel. Some of these include Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity, and Kayak. You can also check out the airline’s own websites for tickets directly from them. Be sure to shop around and compare prices before booking your flight to get the best deal!
Would you be able to arrange extra nights at the hotel prior to the tour, if we choose to arrive a few days early?
Yes, we can absolutely accommodate early arrivals. During the registration process, you have the option to select 1 or 2 pre-arrival days, which will be at the Dan Boutique Hotel in Jerusalem. Additionally, you may choose 1 or 2 post-stay days at the Renaissance Hotel in Tel Aviv following the conclusion of the tour. This allows you the flexibility to extend your experience and explore more of what Israel has to offer at your leisure.
